The Keep-Me-Busy Book

I sit at my desk

Open my book

The book with its dog-eared edges

And yellowish-stained pages

I stare at it with anticipation

As I envision the next action

The character will take

I dive right in without a pause

With 365 pages, this book is sure to keep me busy

For the rest of the December holiday
